Alexis' Band Concert

Last week Alexis performed in the 5th and 6th Grade Band Concert playing the Clarinet.
She played the violin last year and decided to try something new. She does a great job.
It was hard to get pictures of her playing because the lights were so low. Hopefully you can see her in them. Joe and Hailey were great siblings and watched nicely and cheered her on!

Happy Thanksgiving

Here are a few pictures from us at Thanksgiving. We went to Omi and Opasan's
and had a fabulous Dinner! Greg, Kyoko, Ayanna and Keelan were there from Denver and Oma was there for dinner with us too. We ate lots and had a wonderful day!

Alexis' 5th Grade Music Program

Alexis' 5th Grade Music Program was a few weeks ago. Their program was about "Coming To America" - Alexis was an Indian. Here are a few pictures of her!

2nd Place in Torrington, WY Wrestling Tourney

Joe's wrestling season for McCormick Jr. High ended on Friday of last week.
On Wednesday he wrestled in the All City Tournament in Cheyenne and took 2nd place in the 127lb group for all the Jr. High Schools. His Jr. High school took the first place for the overall #1 team! The picture below is from a wrestling tournament in Torrington Middle School in Wyoming. He ended up with 2nd place in the 127lb weight class there too. He does a great job and works very hard to be the best. (He is the 2nd guy in line going left to right)

Gymnastics Update

Alexis dislocated her elbow at the beginning of October when she fell off the balance beam doing a cartwheel. The Doctor anticipated her to be out of gymnastics until the end of December. She had only make it to two competitions as a level 5 gymnast before getting hurt. But, she has been continuing to go to the gym a few nights a week to stretch and condition. She went this evening without her brace on! Don't get worried or excited yet though as she was not able to use her arm yet like normal. Be we are making progress and she is so ready to be back to the gym tumbling like normal. I am trying to get the blog to upload some video so you can see her in action before she got hurt.
